The program consisted of a GS in La Parva and a Super G, a GS and an SL race in Valle Nevado where the field consisted of 99 entrants from 8 countries .

Marg Franke-Williams won silver in the GS race in La Parva, silver in the Super G and the SL in Valle Nevado and bronze in the Gs in Valle Nevado in the Ladies 55 to 60 years age group and won silver in the overall South American Cup placing in her age group.

David Taylor won silver in the GS race in La Parva, silver in the Super G and bronze in the GS in Valle Nevado in the Men 70 to 75 years age group and won silver in the overall FIS South American Cup placing in his age group.

Henry Busetti won bronze in the GS in Valle Nevado in the 65 to 70 years age group and Stephen McKittrick won bronze in the GS in La Parva in the 60 to 65 year age group.

The team acquitted itself very well in the first Australian Team entry into a FIS Masters event anywhere in the world.

The team was unanimous in its praise for the organisation of the races and for the wonderful hospitality shown by our Chilean and Brazilian hosts.

The highlight had to be the huge party provided by the Chilean Ski Association for competitors and support team after the La Parva event.
