Ricky - Czech Republic, 25-26th Jan

Callum Brown from Victoria achieved some outstanding results in Ricky coming first in the child 2 Slalom and 10th in the GS. This is particularly impressive as Callum is in his underyear in child 2 competition. The girls were represented by NSW skiers, Toni Hodkinson, Alexandra Pilat and Sam Biilman The girls finished in 19th, 22nd and 33rd place respectively in the GS. In the slalom, the tough 55 gate course with it's difficult combinations took it's toll, with only 40% of the field finishing the course. Sam Biilman was our only finisher in the girls coming 16th.

There were 19 countries represented at Ricky with fields of about 50 racers. The event was well run with excellent hospitality provided by the local ski club and community.

Vratna - Slovakia, 29-30 Jan

In Vratna, Callum Brown was Australia's only representative, again performing extremely well, coming 2nd in the Slalom and 6th in the GS. There were 14 countries represented with a field of about 45 racers.
