Australian Junior Snowboarder Scott James has won the Youth Slopestyle and Halfpipe events at the Burton European Open in Laax, Switzerland over the weekend.

James, 13 year old Mt Buller rider, won the slopestyle event by a considerable 15 points over US rider Seamus O’Connor, with Slovenian Tim-Kevin Ravnjak a tenth of a point behind in third.

In the halfpipe James took the event out by 7.3 points ahead of Swiss rider Jan Scherrer and French snowboarder Regnier Niels.
