The Snowboard Team has been getting in some good training at Perisher Blue. A lot of time has been spent in the park and Big Air site taking advantage of the good conditions to learn some new tricks while Perisher are preparing the Halfpipe.
Nathan Johnstone has been doing well on the contest scene taking out first place in the Junior Rail Competition which replaced the scheduled Halfpipe event.

He also went on to be the only snowboarder in the final of the Coca Cola Wild Winter Weekend Rail Competition which also replaced one of the cancelled Halfpipe events.

Hannah Trigger is back on snow after rolling her ankle and has timed it well with the Halfpipe just about to open.
Simone Pritchard has been landing some solid airs off the Big Air site and getting into the rails and boxes too. It’s been a rapid progression from the Talent Transfer Gymnast and she’s turning out to be a good all round Snowboarder that loves Halfpipe.

Matty Hunter has had a well timed week off to head back home and catch up on some schoolwork after a solid few weeks of training. The new addition to the team has been working hard both on and off snow and also has some new tricks to take to the pipe later on in the week.
